Spent some quality time at the office today, but didn’t get up in time for breakfast.
I walked to the store a few blocks away for lunch and grabbed this:
For dinner, I had been soaking an assortment of beans (12 different kinds to be exact) and made a really delicious soup with those, some tomatoes, onion, garlic and a little zinfandel. Best thing about cooking with wine- instant excuse to drink what’s leftover!
It was incredibly filling, so I couldn’t eat more than a bowl.
Thankfully, it is PHINALLY not a problem to have leftovers because, ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that I am no longer fridge-less! Hooray!
Tomorrow will be a very exciting day for me at the grocery store…
